Temps de Flors exhibitionIranzu Santamaría/Mireia Langa/Helena Rodríguez. As a part of a college competition we had the opportunity to design and build a new "flower patio" in Girona, Spain. Working with very low budget so the idea of using recyclable plastic glasses in different colours made the project easy to organize and fast to build. This exhibition forms part of the "Temps de Flors" annual exhibition. Publications: - DAU, Debats d'Arquitectura i Urbanism #28 - In detail. Espacios Efímeros. Spanish edition. | Teatre Artesa. BarcelonaRefurbishment and replanning of and old theatre by converting the civic centre "Bar Casino" to a new theatre development (a classic theatre and an experimental room). All green areas and trees are kept and become the main axis of the project. Nature and culture are meant to coexist. | Gormley - Beaumont HotelWhile working with ReardonSmith I had the opportunity of taking part on the design of this boutique hotel in central London, the Beaumont Hotel. The 75-room hotel features a bedroom suite enclosed in a huge Gormley sculpture of a crouching man. As part of the design an inhouse competition to design the interior of this first in the world sculpture-room took place. Mirrors, camera obscura and reflections are the theme of my proposal. |

Brixton artwork competitionLocal business have been the heart and soul of Brixton for more than 150 years, they inspired others, grew, failed and some survived wars and riots. This spirit has not changed: it has improved. The cultural mix has given a new colourful look that blends with its own history. Old signs reproductions, collected from the local archives together with traditional patterns from the present mixed cultures from around the world, including the UK, will show this blended HERITAGE. | Marimekko offices for Spain HQProposed new offices to the Finish brand where the building has to be an icon reference for the still unknown brand. We introduce terraces, light, big windows, round shapes. Everything being based in the main design of Maija Isola (UNIKKO), the founder of the company. |
At the studio we are always searching for the best opportunities to express our creativity and passion for design.
